Terms of Service

The deal

FundMesa is a grant-management tool you can use to track funders, deadlines, expenses, and reports for your nonprofit. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else got access. We can suspend or close accounts that abuse the service (spam, impersonation, illegal use).

Your data

You own the grants, funders, attachments, notes, and other records you put into FundMesa. We need a limited license to store, process, and display that data so the product works — that's the whole purpose. We don't sell it, we don't use it to train AI models, and we don't share it outside the sub-processors listed at /sub-processors.

Sensitive data

FundMesa is not designed to hold protected health information (PHI), payment card data, or other regulated categories. Don't upload that kind of content unless you have a signed Business Associate Agreement or similar arrangement with us — we currently don't offer one.

Availability

We aim to keep FundMesa available and working well, but we don't promise zero downtime or zero bugs. We do our best to back up your data and we'll tell you if something material goes wrong.

Payment

Plans, prices, and trial terms are described in your account settings. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or as specifically stated in an order form.

Ending the relationship

You can cancel anytime from Settings → Danger Zone (org owners) or by emailing us. After cancellation we retain soft-deleted data for a short restoration window, then purge.

Limits on liability

FundMesa is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the service is capped at the fees you paid in the prior twelve months. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Changes

We may update these terms; if we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, give you notice in-app or by email before they take effect.
